The Correctional Training Facility (CTF) in Soledad held its third annual Hot August Nights Show and Shine car show Aug. 17. The event, organized by the Employee Action Committee, welcomed family, friends, and staff for a day of cars, food, and fun.
The car show featured a variety of vehicles, from classic to newer models, brought in by CTF staff and local car clubs. Each participant entered to win the Best at Show award.
Food vendors offered a range of snacks and meals while a DJ played music. There were also games for kids and adults to enjoy.
“Events like this are important for bringing people together and building a sense of community at CTF,” said acting Warden Edward J. Borla. “It’s a chance for staff and their families to relax and have fun together, which helps boost morale and strengthens bonds between everyone involved.”
