Mary Ann Alvarado, a dental assistant at Pleasant Valley State Prison, passed away Sept. 19, 2024.
She began her career with CDCR in September 2006 as a dental assistant at the Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison at Corcoran.
Alvarado transferred to Pleasant Valley State Prison in November 2006, where she remained until her untimely passing.
“Mary Ann will be greatly missed by all who worked with her. Please keep the Alvarado family in your thoughts and prayers,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
