Seadon Bradley, a retired correctional lieutenant, passed away Sept. 22, 2024.

Bradley began his career with the department as a correctional officer cadet in April 1990. After graduating the academy, he reported to Pelican Bay State Prison in May 1990.
In July 1997, he promoted to sergeant and then to lieutenant in October 2012. He remained at the institution until retiring in December 2016.
“Many knew Seadon both personally and professionally. Seadon was respected by his peers and was a well-loved member of the PBSP family. He was a good friend, partner, and a good human being. He will be missed by all. We extend our most sincere condolences to retired Correctional Lt. Bradley’s family, friends, and loved ones,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
