California State Prison (CSP), Solano, hosted a staff appreciation day for all shifts Oct. 3.
Solano staff from medical, custody, management, California Prison Industry Authority, education, warehouse, laundry, culinary and administrative enjoyed a meal along with snacks and beverages.
Also involved:
- California Correctional Peace Officers Association
- California Correctional Supervisors Organization
- Service Employees International Union
The event was held inside the walls of the prison in the Division of Rehabilitative Programs area to make it easier for all staff to attend.
To show staff their hard work and dedication are not going unnoticed, management grilled burgers, hotdogs, and veggie burgers. The day also featured games and DJ music.
