Facility G at the Substance Abuse Treatment Facility (SATF) and State Prison at Corcoran recently hosted A Day of Abilities.
The event was put together by the Facility G population, SATF mental health department, custody and many other staff members.
“Thank you to everyone for all your hard work in making the event such a success.”
Acting Warden Raul Morales
Geared toward promoting inclusiveness, the event offered the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) population a chance to showcase their diverse abilities.
While the event was geared toward the ADA population, all population and staff were encouraged to participate.

The Facility G band provided live entertainment while some of the population displayed their artistic abilities.
The event included games such as chess, dominoes, pinochle, bocci ball, ping pong, cornhole, ladder toss, pickle ball and Connect 4.
Acting Warden Raul Morales was appreciative of the efforts to organize the event.
“Thank you to everyone for all your hard work in making the event such a success,” he said.
