The California State Prison, Corcoran, management team recently gathered for Administrator of the Day (AOD) training.

One of the training days each year, Corcoran executive management focuses on outdoor activities during AOD training.
Through these activities, they are able to build camaraderie though friendly competitions at the range.
The management team also enjoyed a meal.
The management team knows the culture of leadership starts with them. The team building they do will be conveyed to other staff throughout the prison.
“When management shares common goals, while continuing cohesiveness among their staff, it promotes the mission of building teamwork and succeeding as one,” said organizers.
As the late Henry Ford said, “Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”
