Jack Silva, a retired electrician II from RJ Donovan Correctional Facility, passed away Jan. 19, 2025. He retired in November 2024 after 28 years of service.
Silva joined the department in May 1986 as an electrician at RJ Donovan Correctional Facility. In October 2002, he promoted to electrician II. He remained at the institution retiring Nov. 30, 2024.
“We extend our most sincere condolences to Mr. Silva’s family. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time,” according to a statement issued by the institution.
