A letter and award of recognition were recently presented by CALPIA to Ironwood State Prison acting Warden Christopher Pierce.
Prison Industries Manager Valerie Dupree said the award and letter acknowledge Pierce’s role in fostering a collaborative working relationship between CALPIA and the institution.
“Your dedication and partnership truly make a difference, and it is an honor to acknowledge your impact,” said Dupree.
She said Warden Pierce is a strong CALPIA supporter and advocate at Ironwood. She said he’s also been instrumental in overcoming various complex challenges.
