Charles Hull, retired correctional officer, has passed away, according to an Oct. 1, 2025, notice from California Correctional Institution (CCI) at Tehachapi.
Hull began his career with the department as an officer at CCI-Tehachapi in July 2002.
He worked his entire career at the same institution, retiring in December 2023.
“CCI extends our very deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the Hull family, colleagues, and friends. He will be remembered and missed by many,” according to the institution.
Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m., Oct. 7, at Greenlawn Funeral Home, Southwest, 2739 Panama Lane, Bakersfield.
Burial will be at 10 a.m., Oct. 8, at South Kern Cemetery District, 15543 S. Vineland Road, Bakersfield.
