CDCR and CCHCS headquarters staff in Elk Grove donated blood during a blood drive held Dec. 17.
Staff members rolled up their sleeves to provide blood through Vitalant, a non-profit organization.
Organized by the Office of Employee Health Management, staff were reminded of the life-saving impact of donating blood.
“With our local hospitals facing a critical need, your donation can make a major impact,” organizers said.
