The San Diego District of the Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO) conducted Operation Early Wake-Up Call Aug. 14. This multi-agency compliance sweep resulted in three arrests.
Chula Vista 1 parole agents were assisted in the operation by:
- Office of Correctional Safety’s Felony Apprehension Team
- Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility’s Investigation Services Unit
- San Diego Mid-City Police Department
- and CDCR’s Division of Adult Institutions Southern Region K-9 unit.

The arrests were made for various penal code violations as well as violating conditions of parole including possessing:
- methamphetamine
- weapon (knife)
- ammunition
- drug paraphernalia
- simulated firearm
- stun gun
According to DAPO, coordinated enforcement efforts, and with assistance and resources from everyone involved, resulted in a successful operation.
