33030.10.1 Temporary Authorization (TAU) Appointments

Employees with TAUTemporary Authorization appointment status are not necessarily entitled to have a representative present during an interview which is preparatory to a separation from the TAUTemporary Authorization appointment. However, if a proposed action against an employee in this status is attributable to a specific incident that would have resulted in an adverse action, investigatory interviews shall be handled like adverse action cases and employee representation shall be allowed.
