45040.5 Methods For Purchasing EDP Equipment For Use Within The Department

  • EDPElectronic Data Processing (see IT) equipment can be purchased using a number of different methods. The methods are:

    • Master Purchase Contract – Generally established by the DGSDepartment of General Services , Office of Procurement (refer to instructions on the contract for preparation and submission of required documents).

    • State Price Schedule – Established by the DGSDepartment of General Services Office of Procurement (refer to instructions on the State Price Schedule for preparation and submission required documents).

    • Delegated Purchasing Authority – Purchases may be made in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the purchasing authority delegated by the DGSDepartment of General Services Office of Procurement.

    • Purchase Estimates – These are for equipment that cannot be made through master purchase contracts, State price schedules, or delegated purchasing authority.
