51040.2 Purpose

  • Post orders shall be complete and concise. Only general functions and specific duty directives shall be referenced in post orders. Department policy directives should be referenced in post orders but not be reiterated in their entirety. Those matters that are not specific to post duties should be communicated to staff through: ISTIn-Service Training, OJTOn-the-Job Training, or other communication methods.
