54060.5.5 Special Altered Clothing

  • For inmates that require specially made clothing, non-medical, the captain, or designee shall submit a written request for the clothing to the clothing distribution supervisor. For inmates requiring clothing modification for medical reasons, the CMOChief Medical Officer shall initiate the request. Informational copies of the requests shall be distributed to linen issue, laundry supervisor and the warehouse manager. The item restriction (DOMDepartment Operations Manual 54060.6) shall not apply to specially altered clothing.
