Teleconference Public Hearing for NCR 22‑04

This notice announces a teleconference public hearing regarding the proposed amendment of California Code of Regulations, Title 15, Crime Prevention and Corrections, Division 3, Chapter 1, concerning the following proposed regulations:

  • Notice of Change to Regulations 22-04, Program and Credit Earning Revisions (ISUDT/MCCS). The public comment period will close on April 26, 2022.

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation will utilize teleconference for this public hearing. Comments regarding these regulations provided at this public hearing will be given the same significance and weight as written comments submitted during the public comment period.

PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION
A public hearing regarding these proposed regulations will be held on April 27, 2022. The teleconference will be opened to the public at 10:00 am. If you would like to participate by teleconference:

The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments about proposed regulations. It is not a forum to debate the proposed regulations. No decision regarding the permanent adoption of these regulations will be rendered at this hearing. 

Pursuant to Government Code section 11346.8, the Department may impose reasonable limitations on oral presentations. Therefore, to ensure everyone who wishes to make a comment has time to do so, comments will be limited to three minutes.

PUBLIC COMMENTS
The public comment period closes on April 26, 2022. Comments received after this date, other than those received at the public hearing, will not receive consideration or a response from the Department. However, any person who provides a comment during the hearing may submit a written copy of their comments to the contact person listed below. These comments must be received by e-mail or by mail with the postmark no later than April 27, 2022.
