The Correctional Training Facility (CTF) at Soledad recently celebrated the advancement of eight correctional sergeants during a promotion ceremony.
Guest speakers included acting Warden Edward J. Borla, Chief Deputy Warden R. D. Hernandez, Associate Warden Mike Brown, and Correctional Captain R. Diaz.
They delivered congratulatory speeches and awarded certificates of achievement to the newly promoted sergeants. The ceremony was further highlighted by the presence of family and friends who participated in the tradition of pinning the sergeants’ chevrons on their collars.
