California Institution for Men (CIM) celebrated a historic milestone with its first-ever staff promotional ceremony, recognizing employees for their dedication and leadership. The event honored newly promoted correctional sergeants, with family members, and institutional leaders in attendance.

Acting Warden Eric Mejia praised the staff’s commitment to safety and rehabilitation, emphasizing the importance of career growth.

CIM speakers and the acting Associate Director Travis Pennington highlighted the significance of strong leadership in corrections.
