The California Correctional Institution (CCI) recently hosted a first-of-its-kind event that brought together wardens, chief deputy wardens, and other staff from Region IV for a tour and networking opportunity.
As the corrections landscape continues to evolve, events like this play a crucial role in shaping the future of the industry. Participants explored CCI’s facilities, learned about its unique programs, and shared knowledge of best practices in corrections.
The institution demonstrated CDCR’s commitment to excellence and its role as a leader in the corrections community. That dedication to rehabilitation and public safety was evident throughout the visit.
The event marks a significant milestone in the institution’s history and underscores CCI’s position as a hub for innovation and collaboration in corrections.
CCI would like to thank and acknowledge the Region IV Associate Director (A) Travis Pennington, Region IV Staff, and the administrators from Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility (RJD), California Rehabilitation Center (CRC), Ironwood State Prison (ISP), Centinela State Prison (CEN), Calipatria State Prison (CAL), California Institution for Men (CIM), and California State Prison-Los Angeles County (LAC).
