In late August, the Chula Vista 2 Parole Unit partnered with Imperial County District Attorney (DA) investigators and CDCR’s Office of Correctional Safety (OCS) for Operation Imperial Heat. Together, they conducted compliance searches throughout Imperial County on individuals supervised by the Division of Adult Parole Operations.
During the Aug. 21 operation, officers and agents successfully contacted eight targeted supervised persons. As a result of the compliance checks, three individuals were arrested for violations discovered during the operation. According to the Imperial County District Attorney’s Office, they will be seeking new charges.
The violations included possession of drug paraphernalia and knives in addition to access to possession of replica firearms
The goal of the operation was to ensure supervised persons were following the terms of their parole supervision, enhance public safety and foster continuous collaboration with local agencies in the Imperial Valley.
