Want to demonstrate your technology?

Once a month, the executive teams for both the California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS), Division of Information Technology Services and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR), Division of Enterprise Information Services invite vendors to Vendor Day. The Vendor Day program provides an opportunity for executive leadership to learn about leading Information Technology (IT) trends and best practices in the areas of correctional services and correctional health care, and showcases products and services in support of improving correctional care in California.

CDCR is the largest state agency in California with approximately 44,000 employees and more than 90 locations throughout California, including adult institutions, parole office locations, conservation fire camps, community correctional facilities, juvenile justice institutions and multiple administrative and headquarters offices. At CDCR, we enhance public safety through safe and secure incarceration of offenders, effective parole supervision, and rehabilitative strategies to successfully reintegrate offenders into our communities.  For more information about CDCR, visit our website www.cdcr.ca.gov.

CCHCS provides care that includes medical, dental and mental health services to California’s prison inmate population at all 35 California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) adult institutions statewide. Our 18,000 employees work to provide patients timely access to safe, effective and efficient medical care,  reduce unnecessary morbidity and mortality, and protect public health. At CCHCS, we integrate the delivery of medical care with mental health, dental, and disability programs. For more information about CCHCS, visit our website at www.cchcs.ca.gov

Vendor day gives CDCR and CCHCS an opportunity to see what the industry has to offer that we may be unaware of.  The process at this point is completely exploratory and does not always lead to “next steps”.  If we wish to seek further information or demonstrations after an initial demonstration, we will contact you.
