14010.6.3 Subpoenas – Who Can Accept Service

  • Not all employees are legally authorized to accept service of a subpoena on behalf of the Secretary, another employee, or an incarcerated person.

  • Only employees who are authorized in writing to accept service of a subpoena for another, except as noted under DOMDepartment Operations Manual 14010.6.5.2, shall accept such service on behalf of another person.
