15090.3.2 Budget Management Branch

• The Budget Management Branch develops, implements, and controls the annual CDCRCalifornia Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation budget which is submitted to the legislature by January 10. The branch also reviews all CDCRCalifornia Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation BCPs, coordinates budgetary studies; and prepares special reports for control agencies. Additionally, this branch provides fiscal control for CDCRCalifornia Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation operations; distributes budgeted funds for each division, parole program, and facility; reviews budget reports; performs policy cost analysis and labor relations fiscal analysis; and participates in labor relations negotiations.
