31140.26 Temporary Authorization (TAU) Appointments

• Employees with a temporary authorization (TAUTemporary Authorization) appointment status are not entitled to have a representative present during an interview which is preparatory to a separation from the TAUTemporary Authorization appointment. However, if a proposed action against an employee in this status is attributable to a specific incident that would have resulted in an adverse action, investigatory interviews shall be handled like adverse action cases and employee representation shall be allowed as prescribed by law.
