31140.32 Witness Interviews

• If during a witness interview, facts are discovered that indicate the witness may have committed misconduct, the OIAOffice of Internal Affairs investigator shall immediately discontinue the interview, even if the facts/admissions are not related to the incident being investigated. The OIAOffice of Internal Affairs investigator shall reschedule the interview applying all employee procedural safeguards related to a subject of investigation/inquiry.
