33030.12 Statute of Limitations

• As soon as operationally possible, but no later than twenty-one (21) calendar days following assignment of a case, the Vertical Advocate shall confirm in the CMS the date of the reported incident, the date of discovery, the statute of limitations expiration date, and any exceptions to the statute of limitations known at that time. The Vertical Advocate shall consult with the assigned investigator and the SAIG, for cases being monitored by the BIR, if the deadline for filing the adverse action should be modified.
