  • To ensure an effective and diverse peace officer work force, the Department shall:

    • Actively recruit entrance-level applicants.

    • Carefully evaluate, examine and test applicants prior to appointment, including:

      • List appointment.

      • Reinstatement.

      • Lateral Transfer.

      • T&DTraining and Development Assignment.

      • Other forms of appointment.
