52090.20 Post Fire Investigation(s) and Reports

A complete report of all fires, hazardous materials, medical, standbys, public assist, or mutual aid incidents shall be prepared by responding fire department staff and forwarded to the SFMState Fire Marshall’s Office as required by California Fire Incident Reporting System.

Fire department staff shall conduct a complete investigation of the scene to ensure that the fire is completely extinguished.

All materials burned or destroyed by the fire shall be itemized and the name of the person or persons involved shall be recorded on the report.
