52090.7.4 Quarterly Equipment/Systems Inspections

  • Quarterly inspections shall be performed on all manual or automatic alarm systems, sprinkler systems, communications systems, detection equipment, and all other types of fire protection equipment, including exit locking devices, doors, fire trucks, and equipment for fire fighting. These systems may be inspected monthly if time and staff allows. The Fire Chief or their designee shall perform these inspections. (Sprinkler systems shall be serviced by State licensed personnel as required by the CCRCalifornia Code of Regulations.)
