52200.2 Purpose

• The purpose of this Department Operations Manual (DOMDepartment Operations Manual) section is to provide Division of Adult Institutions (DAIDivision of Adult Institutions (formerly Institutions Division)), Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPODivision of Adult Parole Operations (formerly P&CSD)), Office of Internal Affairs (OIAOffice of Internal Affairs), Division of Rehabilitative Programs (DRPDivision of Rehabilitative Programs), and the Office of Correctional Safety (OCSOffice of Correctional Safety) with a framework that is intended to appropriately and expediently report to the California State Threat Assessment System (STAS), information related to suspected radical or extremist behaviors occurring within the CDCRCalifornia Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation purview.
