53130.3.3 Crimes Committed Before 1‑1‑83

• Inmates sentenced to prison on non-life terms, whose crimes were committed prior to 1-1-83, may elect to receive credits pursuant to PCPenal Code § 2933. Inmates in this category shall be afforded the opportunity to waive their rights to receive credit reduction on their sentences under PCPenal Code § 2931 (one day credit for two days served) and become eligible to receive credits pursuant to PCPenal Code § 2933 (one day credit for one day served).

  • Eligible lifer cases described in DOMDepartment Operations Manual § 53130.3.1 shall require a waiver on crimes committed prior to 1-1-83.
