62080.9.2 General

  • This category shall be provided at CMFCalifornia Medical Facility, CMCCalifornia Men's Colony-E and CIWCalifornia Institution for Women and shall only be designated by staff at these institutions.

  • CMFCalifornia Medical Facility shall house Category “J” inmates who are assaultive or otherwise present management problems. CMCCalifornia Men's Colony-E shall house inmates chronically disabled by mental illness who are not a danger to others and require little therapeutic programming beyond medication maintenance.
