Description
This meeting is the second in a two-part workgroup series that will highlight programs and services from CDCR’s Department of Rehabilitative Programs and the Center for Employment Opportunities, which address some of the hiring barriers that individuals who were formerly incarcerated face. In addition, Mr. Timothy Jackson will provide a presentation on how he has applied his knowledge from the California Prison Industry Authority’s Healthcare Facilities Maintenance (HFM) program to become an entrepreneur after releasing from CDCR in 2017, creating employment opportunities not only for himself, but for others in his community, as well.
