California Health Care Facility (CHCF) in Stockton hosted its second reentry resource fair March 6-7. The fair connected incarcerated individuals with organizations offering rehabilitation and reentry support.
More than 30 reentry resource tables were set up at the CHCF fair.
The booths featured internal and external programs and services such as:
- Insight Garden Program
- Jack Tone Adult School
- CHCF Medical and Nursing
- Alcoholics Anonymous
- integrated substance-use disorder treatment
- Anti-Recidivism Coalition
- Division of Adult Parole Operations
- Board of Parole Hearings
- Prevail
- and many others.
The event drew over 400 attendees including incarcerated individuals, CHCF staff, outside stakeholders, and external CDCR institutional staff.
Division of Adult Institutions Director Gena Jones and Region II Associate Director Angela Kent also attended, highlighting the importance of community and support in the rehabilitation process.
