CDCR’s Division of Adult Parole Operations Community Compliance Unit (CCU) recently partnered with Visalia and Tulare County agencies to serve a search warrant.
The parole agents joined the Visalia Police Department Narcotics Unit and the Tulare County Agencies Regional Gun Violence Enforcement Team to target a suspected chop shop.
The operation resulted in the discovery of more than six pounds of meth and evidence suggesting the site was used as a chop shop.
CCU agents, along with officers from the other law enforcement agencies, served a search warrant at a Visalia residence Aug. 12. During the search they found about six and a half pounds of methamphetamine, evidence of sales and DMT lab evidence. In the garage, they found a stolen motorcycle and miscellaneous vehicle parts.
The Tulare Regional Auto Theft Task Force responded to the scene. Due to the nature of the stolen vehicle, they took over the investigation into the suspected chop shop.
Jeremy Miller, 43, was arrested on suspicion of narcotics and property-related charges.
