Arturo Villarreal, a retired correctional officer, passed away Dec. 8, 2024. He worked for the department for 20 years, retiring in 2010.
Arturo “Big V” Villarreal began his correctional officer career in 1990, retiring 20 years later from Central California Women’s Facility.
He is survived by his wife, Ofelia, two sons and a daughter.
Services are scheduled as follows:
Visitation will be held Dec. 19, 4 to 8 p.m., at Dopkins Funeral Chapel, 189 South J St., Dinuba. Rosary will be held from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
Mass will be Dec. 20, 10 to 11 a.m., at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, 356 North Villa Ave., Dinuba. Burial will follow from 11 to 11:45 a.m. at Smith Mountain Cemetery in Dinuba.
