Sharon Wilson, a retired correctional case records analyst from Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility (RJD), passed away Jan. 31, 2026.
She began her career with the department as an office assistant in November 1990 at RJD. She promoted to correctional case records supervisor and then to correctional case records analyst while there. Wilson remained at RJD for 30 years retiring in December 2020.
“Sharon was a gift to all who knew her. A woman whose love ran deep, whose strength carried others, and whose presence brought comfort and joy to everyone around her. Her life was a blessing, and her spirit continues to surround us with peace, love, and faith as she rests in God’s eternal care,” her family said.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and worked with her, according to the institution.
