How to Request Transcripts and Certificates from the California Education Authority
Former DJJ youth can receive a copy of their education transcripts. Expect requests to be processed in approximately 10 business days.
Here’s how to make your requests:
Use the below link to a form or provide a signed letter requesting the transcript that contains all of the following information below pertaining to the former DJJ youth:
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- CYA/DJJ ID#
- Institution name
- Approximate time frame of attendance
- Daytime phone number
- Mailing address
- Graduation date, if applicable
- Specify GED or high school diploma
