Pre‑Release Community Programs
The Division of Rehabilitative Programs (DRP) provides pre-release community programs located in communities throughout the State of California. These programs allow eligible people committed to state prison to serve the end of their sentences in the community, in lieu of confinement in state prison.
The following pre-release community programs provide a wide range of rehabilitative services to ultimately aid in the participant’s transition and reintegration into the community.
