Collaborative Approach
Region IV’s success relies on the collaboration between three divisions that collectively drive operational excellence:
- Division of Adult Institutions (DAI): Oversees the secure and efficient operations of correctional facilities.
- California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS): Provides medical, mental health, and dental care to the incarcerated population.
- Division of Rehabilitative Programs (DRP): Offers rehabilitative programming, education, and vocational training to reduce recidivism.
